Comparison of 2012 teaser trailer and 2012 trailer

I have noticed that there is significant difference between both the trailer and the teaser trailer of 2012, one of those obvious things being the length of the trailer, the trailer is 1 minute 35 seconds longer than the teaser trailer. The scene shown in the teaser trailer shows the big budget and the unbelieveably big effects of the film showing a massive wave which iverruns not only the Tibetan monastery but the himalayas also, where as in the longer trailer you are introduced to the characters and some of the plot behind the film, you are shown a great deal of effects which are in the film ranging from volcanic eruptions, meteorites and thunderstorms, Another major difference between both the trailer and the teaser trailer is the amount of shots shown, in teaser trailer only 13 shots are shown whereas in the trailer many more are shown. The longer trailer also shows captions which will hook the audience into the film. The longer trailer also shows who the film is directed by and what his previous films were the director being Roland Emirich. A number of the shots in the trailer is centered around what seems to be a family, this indicates that the film is possibly centered around this family.
